The LeRoy Park and Community Center has been located on the north side of Guadalupe, California for well over half a century. This community center has been home to the Boys and Girls Club until it fell under disrepair. Through a Community Development Block Grant from the State of California, the City of Guadalupe hired AGD to redesign and modernize the park and community center. The work included partial demolition, renovation, and expansion of the existing single story 9883 square foot facility to a 11,700 square foot facility. The design included a gymnasium, multi-purpose rooms, offices, classrooms, catering kitchen, and restrooms. The park included a restroom building, playground, picnic areas, site lighting, landscaping, and pathways. A new parking lot was also designed to help accommodate the daily visitor traffic.
