This ADU takes a contemporary approach to a traditional ranch home typology. Designed with the mid-century ranch-style neighborhood in mind, this ADU is defined by its singular flat roof, which flies above a window wall to provide summer shading and preserve views. Below the primary windows, an integrated planter allows the owner to seamlessly blend landscaping across the facade while also providing privacy and greenery for the interiors.
 
While simple in its expression, the Pacific is an ideal canvas for a variety of cladding materials to better match it with existing residences.
