Bang the Drum Brewery is a brewpub located in the space of a previous restaurant/cafeteria for a large warehouse facility in San Luis Obispo. The design team took an existing 4200 square foot restaurant space and stripped the interior to be more industrial and rawer in order to provide an aesthetic that matched the brewery's brand. A long and winding serpentine bar was installed at one end to the restaurant floor while a stage exists on the other. The kitchen was designed and engineered to be an all-electric kitchen to make pies and other brewpub food to complement the beer. An outdoor seating area was also included in the final planning of the space.
