The Scout Hotel is a luxury hotel, conference center, restaurant and bar located on a new mixed-use development adjacent to the Gray’s Crossing Golf Course. The client brought this project to AGD from a previous designer who had taken the mixed-use site development through entitlements with planning level conditions of approval. AGD was brought onboard to provide design services in the design development of the 3-story floor plan, exterior elevations, and immediate site design by incorporating the town’s conditions, the hotel brand standards, and specific market-driven amenities. The hotel contains 129 rooms, a ground floor restaurant, bar, outdoor seating and gathering spaces, a courtyard spa, a third floor lounge, and valet gear storage for guests who take advantage of the many outdoor activities available in the area throughout the year. The project also contains a conference center with an outdoor garden for private events. The project has received approval from the Planning Commission and is now under design development in cooperation with the hotel brand.
